Whitney Engen

Elizabeth Whitney Engen ( born November 28, 1987 in Torrance, California) is an American soccer player who plays the U.S. national team since the 2013 season for the FA WSL Liverpool LFC participants as well.

Career

Association

Engen began her career in 2009 in the W - League team Pali Blues. For the 2010 season, she was drafted by the Chicago Red Stars WPS participants and there came to 24 inserts. The following year, she ran for the league rivals Western New York Flash and won with this WPS Championship, before she on loan was a brief stint in the Swedish first division Tyresö FF in the second half. After the dissolution of the WPS immediately prior to the 2012 season, she returned to the Pali Blues. The end of 2012, she signed a contract for the 2013 season at Liverpool LFC and won the championship with this in the FA WSL. After she moved, as two years earlier, on loan to Tyresö FF.

National

Engen played for the U-20 and U-23 teams in the United States. In 2011 she was the first time for the A Selection of the USA to use and took, among others, at the Algarve Cup in 2011, 2013 and 2014 in part.
