Windows-1250
Windows -1250 is an 8 -bit character encoding of the Windows operating system. It encodes characters that are needed for Central and Eastern European languages and covers Polish, Czech, Slovak, Slovenian, Hungarian, Serbo-Croatian (Latin spelling ), Romanian and Albanian, but also from German. The character set is based on ISO 8859-2. As in Windows 1252 control characters have been replaced by typographic punctuation and additional letters in Windows -1250, but also the sorting of the characters has changed.
