Windows-1251

Windows -1251 is an 8 -bit code page for the representation of languages ​​in the Cyrillic alphabet such as Russian. She is also often used for Bulgarian.

Windows -1251 and KOI8 -R (or its Ukrainian variant KOI8 -U) are much more common than ISO 8859-5. In the future they could be displaced by Unicode code pages.
