WinneToons
WinneToons is a 26-part German animated series loosely based on characters from the novel Winnetou first part of Karl May The first episode ran on March 30, 2002 in ARD. After that, the consequences were repeated on the KiKA. The pilot film was released by Universal on DVD. In 2009 there was a film adaptation titled WinneToons - The Legend of the Treasure of Silver Lake.
Content
The individual completed episodes portray child-friendly adventure stories without explicit depictions of violence or bloody scenes, from the time of the characters Winnetou and Old Shatterhand between their blood brothers and the murder of Winnetou's father and his sister Intshu tshuna Nscho -chi. All stories are fictional and do not exist in the original novel. Many other people from the Karl -May- universe accompany them on their adventures as the Hobble - Frank, the aunt Droll and Sam Hawkens.
Since the series is marketed internationally, she got on the DVD and the soundtrack is subtitled " The World of Karl May ".
Although the series was written in the U.S. and created by illustrators in China, but some concessions have been fitted to the Japanese anime style in the series for the international market. So Nscho -chi is accompanied by two animals, from fast food, a coyote, and Misty, a skunk.
Curiosity: Old Shatterhand contributes, as in the Karl May films ( as shown by Lex Barker ), in this series, no cowboy hat.

The series music by Adrian Askew. The theme song is a variation of " Ride the Hurricane's Eye" group Rednex.
