WorkPLAN

Work Plan is an ERP solution ( consisting of the two variants Workplan Enterprise and MyWorkPLAN ), which was developed by the French company Sescoi for individual production or project -oriented departments that need a specialized ERP solution.

The typical user of these ERP solutions come from the following industries: automotive, aerospace and defense, engineering, mechanical engineering, tool making and mold making.

History

The first version of the ERP solution work plan was developed in 1992. The 2006 released version 12 is the latest version of the original system.

Since 2003 Sescoi develops a new generation of ERP Work plan developed as two complementary products. The first of these products is MyWorkPLAN, a moduläres ERP system for project management, which was published in 2006. The second product is Workplan Enterprise, a complete ERP software for custom manufacturers, tool and die makers and design departments, which was published in 2008. Both products use MySQL for the operation of the database and have a modern user interface with a navigation tree, as it is also used in CAD ​​systems.

The version 3 of MyWorkPLAN and Workplan Enterprise was published in 2009. Both products are SAP certified since November 25, 2009.

Version 4 was at the EuroMold show at Messe Frankfurt in December 2010 launched. This version includes new tools for Customer Relationship Management (CRM ) and a combination of detailed and simplified planning methods. It also includes an updated user interface, a new way to access the system via the Internet and new features for managing Losproduktionen.

Functions

The ERP solution work plan allows the company or departments to automate and manage the key elements of their activities, such as project costs, quotations, orders, planning, document management, analysis of 3D CAD files, bill of materials, quality control of time and attendance with the touch screen, tracking of actual times, orders, inventory management, key figures, overview of the financial and strategic analysis.

Differences to other ERP systems

Work plan Workplan Enterprise and MyWorkPLAN have been developed from the beginning for the special requirements in tool and mold making. Technology

The first version of the ERP solution work plan was developed with the programming language Unify VISION and used Unify DataServer Unify Corporation for the operation of the database.

The two new products, MyWorkPLAN and Workplan Enterprise, have been developed with PowerBuilder, Delphi and C , and use MySQL for the operation of the database. Both products contain the technology of the U.S. company Tom Sawyer for the graphical creation and representation of links between the tasks.
