Xavier Darcos

Darcos (* July 14, 1947 in Limoges ) is a French politician ( UMP). From 23 June 2009 to March 2010 he held the office of the French labor minister.

After his teaching degree in Bordeaux, where he graduated with a doctorate degree, he taught from 1982 to 1987 at a Lycée in Bordeaux. From 1987 to 1992 he taught at another Lycée in Paris before he was appointed to the National School Inspectorate ( IGEN ) in 1992.
