Ya'akov Tzur

To Yaakov (Hebrew יעקב צור, born a Hebrew Yaakov Steinberg יעקב שטיינברג, born April 4, 1937 in Haifa, League of Nations Mandate for Palestine ) is a former Israeli politician.

Description

For the studied Biblical Studies and History at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. In the years 1955-1957 he was part of the Jotvata - settlement group and from 1957 he was a member of Kibbutz Netiv HaLamed - Heh. He also worked as a teacher in Givat Brenner and in Kfar Menachem, later director of the HaTnuah HaKibbuzit 1972-1974. Was further he was from 1984 to 1988 Minister of Health from 1988 to 1990 he was Minister of Agriculture and from 1991-1992 he was Minister for the reception of immigrants.
