The Yellowknife Airport Airport ( IATA: YZF, ICAO code: CYZF ) is located in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada.
It is part of the National Airport System and is operated by the Government of the Northwest Territories. The Yellowknife Airport is the largest airport in the Canadian territories and therefore also serves as a hub of several airlines such as Buffalo Airways, Canadian North and First Air It is used for civilian air traffic as well as the base of the Canadian Forces.
In 2008, the modernization of the airport terminal was completed, whereby the terminal's capacity has been doubled.
