Yelyzaveta Bryzhina

Jelysaweta Bryshina (Ukrainian Єлизавета Бризгіна, English transcription Yelyzaveta Bryzhina, . Born November 28, 1989 in Luhansk ) is a Ukrainian sprinter. She was European Champion with the 4 x 100 - meter relay.

In 2007, she was about 200 m junior vice-European champion. In 2009, she competed at the European Indoor Championships over 60 m, but different in the run- off.

2010 Bryshina won the Super League athletics team championship over 200 m. At the European Athletics Championships in Barcelona, she won the silver medal over the same distance and gold with the Ukrainian team in the 4 x 100 - meter relay. When Continental Cup 2010 she was again second on the 200 - meter track.

In the 2011 Universiade Bryshina won the relay gold medal in the individual race, she finished fourth. In 2012 she ran at the World Indoor championships as first leg in the 4 x 400 - meter relay. The Ukrainians were initially Fourth, but because Bryshina had brought the first change of a Belarusian unintentionally case, they were disqualified. In London Bryshina reached at the Olympic Games over 200 m the semi-finals, she was successful with 4 x 100 - meter relay, with which she won the bronze medal with a new national record time.

Jelysaweta Bryshina is the daughter of two Olympic champions of 1988: Viktor Bryshin (4 x 100 - meter relay ) and Olha Wladykina - Bryshina (400 -meter run, 4 x 400 - meter relay ).
