Yousef VI Emmanuel II Thomas

Joseph Emmanuel II Toma ( born August 8, 1852 in Alqosh; † July 21, 1947 ) was from 1900 to 1947 Patriarch of Babylon of the Chaldeans.

His ordination took place on 10 July 1879 he was appointed bishop of the Chaldean Catholic Church of Siirt and episcopal ordination was on July 24, 1892. On 9 July 1900, the appointment and on 17 December 1900 saw the enthronement of Patriarch of Babylon the Chaldeans. Joseph Emmanuel II Tomas was 68 years priests, including Bishop 55 years and 47 years patriarch.
