Yukhym Zvyahilsky

Juchym Leonidowytsch Swjahilskyj (* February 20, 1933 in Donetsk ) was from September 22, 1993 to June 15, 1994 Prime Minister of Ukraine.

He is an entrepreneur and former mayor of Donetsk. Swjahilskyj is a graduate of Donetsk National Technical University, where he earned a degree in 1956 as a mining engineer. Later he worked in various positions, most recently as Director, with the slot No. 13 of the Mining Combine Kujbyschewwuhillja and then worked as a director at other shafts. At the same time he was also involved in the research in the field of mining.

1990 Swjahilskyj was elected people's deputies of the Donetsk Oblast. From 1992 he was chairman of the Donetsk City Council in 1993 and First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine. From September 1993 to June 1994 he practiced as acting from the Office of the Prime Minister. In 1994 he was elected as a deputy in the Verkhovna Rada. In the same year he left for his replacement as Deputy Prime Minister the Ukraine and lived until 1997 in Israel. In 1998 he was re-elected to Parliament.
