Yusuf Alli

Yusuf Alli ( born July 28, 1960 in Edo ) is a former Nigerian athlete, long jumpers. He won at various international tournaments gold and silver medals, and put the Athletics Championships Africa 1989 in Lagos, the former capital of his home country, with 8.27 m valid today Nigerian record in the long jump on.

Six years previously occupied Yusuf at the World Athletics Championships 1983 in Helsinki in the final eighth. He also participated with the choice of Nigeria in three Summer Olympics, reaching Los Angeles in 1984 to ninth. In Moscow in 1980 and in Seoul in 1988, he retired, however, from each in the first round.
