Zálezly

Zálezly ( German Salesl, formerly Zalesl ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located six kilometers north-west of Vlachovo Březí in South Bohemia and belongs to Okres Prachatice.

Geography

Zálezly is located in a hillside on the left side of the creek Radhostický creek in the foothills of the Bohemian Forest. Opposite the village flows the creek Setěchovický in the Radhostický creek. In the north, the Čerenec ( Čerenetz, 643 m) and Brankovec the Bořkův rise ( 639 m), northeast Kopec ( 636 m), to the east the Pálenina ( 654 m ) south of the Bolíkovický vrch (770 m) and in the southwest of Venec ( Wienec, 765 m). To the west of the railway line Zálezly Strakonice Volary runs through the Volyňkatal.

Neighboring towns are Malenice and Straňovice in the north, Úlehle and Želibořice in the northeast, Bušanovice, Beneda, Újezdec and Konopiště to the east, Dolni Nakvasovice, Horni Nakvasovice and Setěchovice the southeast, Kovanín and Radhostice in the south, Mlaka, Budilov and Hradcany in the southwest, Havrdův Mlýn and Čkyně in the west and Lčovice, Nahořany and Zlešička in the northwest.

History

Archaeological finds indicate a Celtic settlement in the area during the late Hallstatt and La Tène. On the Venec was located between the 5th century BC and the 1st century a fortified settlement.

The first written mention of the village was carried out in 1370 in connection with Jan of Zalezl. An older mention from 1350 is considered unsafe. Seat of the Lords of Zalezl was a Gothic stronghold from which the remains have been preserved. From 1460 the manor was in the Vladiken of Prosty (z Prostého ) from which it came by marriage to the late 16th century to the Wratislaw of Mitrowitz. This sold the property Zalezl 1597 immediately. Then the owner of the goods changed frequently, most of them were located elsewhere. Among them were the Palatine Chamberlain Heinrich Michael Hießerle of Codaw ( Jindřich Michal Hýzrle Chodů z ) on Eltschowitz, from 1663 the captain of the circle of Prachin January Oldrich Malovci on Zalesl and Zdikow and 1697 January Václav Byšovec of Bysov. In 1705 the Zádubský of Schonthal acquired the estate and joined it to Černietitz ( Černětice ). They held the property until 1791. During the country legal auction of goods Černietitz ( Černětice ) with Zalesl bought Franz Count von and SICKINGEN the Good Zalesl and joined it to Eltschowitz. Then he left the Grange Zalesl and the castle emphytheutisieren. His financial circumstances forced Francis to and from SICKINGEN to separate at the beginning of the 19th century by some of his goods. In 1805 he sold Eltschowitz with Zalesl to Joseph Anton Baumbas, the rule bought but already in the following year back. 1815 sold Francis and SICKINGEN 1815 the rule Eltschowitz with Zalesl Dorothea Countess Rey, born Countess Breteuil. 1830 was Eugen Graf Wratislaw Netolitzky devolved rule of court. He sold it in 1835 to the Prague businessman Joseph Dressler. In just two years of rule Dressler, there was a riot of subjects in Eltschowitz and Malenitz that this was reflected by the military. In 1837 he sold the property to Christoph Benda In 1840 the estate comprised the villages Zalesl Zalesl and Kowanin ( Kovanín ); it had a usable area of 928 yoke and 1098 square fathoms. Main source of income was the only moderately profitable because of the harsh climate and the sandy and rocky soils agriculture. As Sidelines spinning and weaving were used. The Zalesler Forstrevier formed one of the three stately forest districts. The village Zalesl or Zales located at the foot of Čerenetz consisted of 51 houses with 334 inhabitants. The former Grange and the Castle was converted into apartments of Emphyteuten. In the village there was a tavern, abstruse were a mill and a hunting lodge. Vicarage was Malenitz. Until the mid-19th century Zalesl always remained the Allodialherrschaft Eltschowitz together with the Good Zalesl submissive.

After the abolition of patrimonial Zalezlé or Zalezly / Zalesl formed in 1850 with the district Kovanín a municipality in the district team Strakonice and the jurisdiction Volyně. Since the 1870s Zálezly u Elčovic was used as the official place name, the addition u Elčovic came around the turn of the century in elimination. Owner of the goods since 1868 was Marie Leopoldina Lippert and in 1883 their son Josef Zítek. After Zíteks plans created in 1882 a schoolhouse. 1893 took in Wolinkatal the railway line Strakonitz - Winterberg traffic on that was continued until the turn of the century until Wallern. Two kilometers west of the village was built over the Havrdův Mlýn Lčovice the station, beside which grew a new settlement in the 20th century. After Zíteks death in 1909 the estate was sold to the step family.

On 1 January 1949, the village was assigned to the newly formed Okres Vimperk. After the abolition of Okres Vimperk the community was part of the 1961 Okres Prachatice, on 30 April 1976, the incorporation of Setěchovice with Bolíkovice.

The municipality consists of the villages Zálezly Bolíkovice ( Bolikowitz ) Kovanín ( Kowanin ) Setěchovice ( Setechowitz ) and Zálezly ( Salesl ).
