Zel’va district

The Rajon Selwa (White Russian Зельвенскі раён; Russian Зельвенский район ) is an administrative unit in the south of Hrodsenskaja Woblasz in Belarus with the administrative center in the urban-type settlement Selwa. The Rajon has an area of 870 km ², comprises 126 villages and is divided into 10 Selsawets.

Geography

The Rajon Selwa located in the southern part of the Hrodsenskaja Woblasz. The Nachbarrajone in Hrodsenskaja Woblasz are in the north Masty, northeast Dsjatlawa, in the east and in the west Waukawysk Slonim.

History

The Rajon Selwa was formed on 15 January 1940.
