Željko Brkić

Željko Brkić (Cyrillic Жељко Бркић; born July 9, 1986 in Novi Sad, SFR Yugoslavia, now Serbia ) is a Serbian footballer who plays for Udinese Calcio under contract and for the Serbian national football team.

Career

Brkić goalkeeper began his career as a professional in 2006 in Vojvodina Novi Sad. Since 2011 he is with the Italian club Udinese Calcio under contract, but was borrowed from the 2011/12 season at AC Siena.

As an international, he took part in the U21 European Championship in Sweden. Brkić debuted in March 2010 in a friendly against Algeria for the Serbian national team after his colleague Vladimir Dišljenković recently publicly announced, due to his frequent injuries, no longer wanting to compete for the national team.
