Zhaobaogou culture

The Zhaobaogou culture (Chinese赵宝 沟 文化/赵宝 沟 文化, pinyin Zhàobǎogōu Wenhua, English Zhaobaogou Culture) was a Neolithic culture in northern China. The eponymous Zhaobaogou - site is located in Aohan Banner, Chifeng, Inner Mongolia. It was excavated in 1986. The culture is dated to 7000-6400 BC. It was followed by the Xinglongwa culture. Other sites are Baiyinchanghan, Shuiquan and Xiaoshan.

The Zhaobaogou - site ( Zhaobaogou Yizhi赵宝 沟 遗址) in Aohan banner stands on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China ( 6-28 ) since 2006.
