Zhou Jianchao

Zhou Jianchao (Chinese周 健 超; Zhou Jianchao, born June 11, 1988 in Shanghai) is a Chinese chess master.

Zhou Jianchao learned to play chess at age six. He won or occupied top positions in several tournaments: 1st - 3rd Place at the Aeroflot Open B with an Elo performance of 2727 in Moscow ( 2005), 3 -8. Place at the 6th Asia Cup in Cebu City (2007). At the World Cup in Khanty-Mansiysk 2007, he defeated in the first round Emil Sutovsky with 1.5:0.5, in the second round Andrij Volokitin 4-3, but eliminated in the third round against Michael Adams with 0.5:1 from 5.
