Zoumana Camara ( born April 3, 1979 in Colombes ) is a French footballer who plays for Paris Saint- Germain since 2007.

Career

Zoumana Camara played in the youth teams from France Racing Club and later at AS Saint- Étienne. There he was pulled up in 1996 in the first team. After two years in the Ligue 2, he moved for the equivalent of one million euros to the Italian top club Inter Milan. But two of his two-year stay, he could only Empoli FC and SC Bastia, where he was given out, get some match practice. For Inter, he completed two games in the Coppa Italia. In 2000, Marseille became aware of him and obliged the central defender. There he was able to prevail as a regular player, but switched after 18 months following an exchange with Lamine Sakho for RC Lens. He fell back again and again by injuries, so he came in the 2002/03 season only 14 games. In the summer of 2003, he was awarded for one season at the English club Leeds United. National

As a youth national team, he won the U-18 European Football Championships 1997 in Iceland. Between 2000 and 2007 he played two games for the French B team. His only senior international completed on 1 June 2001 under the Confederations Cup 2001 in the 0-1 defeat against Australia.
