Notes: * Marco Engelhardt moved on 1 June 2005 for Dietmar Hamann ( Liverpool ), who had to adapt because of a fatigue fracture in the foot, in the team. ** Jürgen Klinsmann replaced on June 2, Miroslav Klose (Werder Bremen), who underwent an operation an inflamed mucosal fold in the right knee, by Thomas Brdaric. Christian Schulz *** traveled due to a painful shin bruise head with bone inflammation prior to the tournament starting. Germany coach Klinsmann did without a subsequent nomination.

Notes: * Salvador Carmona and Aarón Galindo were suspended after the first round of the Mexican Association for doping and painted before the semi finals of the player list. After an internal test of the association of the A and B samples were positive for nandrolone. The world football governing body FIFA will not punish the entire team, although both were used in the preliminary rounds, but only the two players themselves Carmona and Galindo were sentenced to one year lock.
