2010 McDonald's Burnie International

The McDonald's Burnie International 2010 was the eighth edition of the hard court tennis tournament in Burnie. It was part of the ATP Challenger Tour in 2010 and was held from 1st to February 7, 2010 in the open.

The field of the individual competition consisted of 32 players, double that of the competition from 16 pairs. In the individual competition, there was a qualifying round with 16 players, by the four players could qualify for the main draw itself. The prize money of the event was $ 50,000.

Winner of the individual competition was the Australian qualifier Bernard Tomic, who defeated his set at position seven compatriot Greg Jones in straight sets in the final. It was Tomic 's second Challenger singles title of his career and the first of the season.

In doubles, the unseeded Australian Matthew Ebden and Samuel Groth won the final against their compatriots also unseeded James Lemke and Dane Propoggia in a competitive game after two decisive tiebreak sets finally in the match tie-break. While it was the first double victory at a Challenger tournament for Ebden, Groth was able to celebrate his fourth success already this category. It was also his second success in Burnie.
