The American League Division Series 2011 ( ALDS ) will take place between 30 September and 6 October 2011 and is part of the MLB Postseason 2011 season. It is used to determine which line up two teams in the American League Championship Series in 2011 against each other. There are two best-of -five series, in which the winners of the three divisions of the American League and a wildcard team to participate. The pairings are as follows:
