Lacelle

Lacelle (La Cela in Occitan ) is a commune of 132 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Corrèze, in the Limousin region. The municipality is a member of the Association of Municipalities Vézère Monedieres. The inhabitants call themselves Lacellois (it).

Geography

The municipality is located in the Massif Central on the Plateau de Millevaches and thus also in the Regional Natural Park Millevaches en Limousin. The Lac de Viam is located about five miles in a southeasterly direction.

Tulle, prefecture of the department is located, about 50 kilometers south, Limoges approximately 55 kilometers north-west and Treignac about 15 kilometers to the south.

The village lies about 35 kilometers northeast of the exit 43 of the A20 Motorway.

Neighboring communities of Lacelle are Rempnat in the north, Tarnac in the northeast, Viam in the east, Saint- Hilaire- les- Courbes in the south, Cham Beret in the southwest as well as L' Église- aux- Bois in the West.
