Marcillac-la-Croisille

Marcillac la Croisille is a commune with 861 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011 ) in the department of Corrèze, in the Limousin region. The municipality is a member of the Association of Municipalities Ventadour. The inhabitants call themselves Marcillacois (it).

Geography

The municipality is located in the Massif Central, here is 642 meters above sea level, the highest point of the canton of La Roche- Canillac. Tulle, prefecture of the department is located about 25 kilometers west and 16 kilometers north of Égletons Marcillac.

Neighboring communities of Marcillac la Croisille are Champagnac la Noaille in the north, Lafage -sur- Sombre in the Northeast, Saint- Merd -de- Lapleau in the east, Bassignac -le-Haut in the southeast, Gros- Chastang in the southwest as well as Saint- Pardoux- la- Croisille in the West.
