Geographical location

The place low Stadtfeld is about 8 miles from Daun, southwest towards Bitburg near the B 257 and can be reached directly through the provincial road 27. The original town (now the town) is located on a hill between the river valleys calf creek and Schwemmbach in a tributary of the "Little Kyll ".

Low Stadtfeld belonged since 1565 to the Counts of Manderscheid and was until the end of the 18th century a place in Kurtrierischen Office Manderscheid.
