Qatar Masters

The Qatar Masters is an international golf tournament on the European Tour. It has been held since 1998 every year in January on the grounds of the Doha Golf Club. The first tournament was won by the Scot Andrew Coltart. The Australian Adam Scott has been able to win the only player to the tournament twice.

The prize money for the tournament in January 2001 was estimated at U.S. $ 750,000. Since 2008, 2.5 million U.S. dollars in prize money will be paid. Meanwhile, the tournament is sponsored by the Commercial Bank of Qatar. The 7374 yards -foot facility was designed by architect Peter Harradine.
