The Route 3, also Grail. Elizardo Aquino called, is a highway in Paraguay. The road connects the capital Asunción with Bella Vista near the border of Brazil. She is one of the main north- south axes of northeastern Paraguay. The RN 3 475 km long.

Street Description

The rn3 begins in the capital Asunción and has 2 × 2 lanes in the urban core and 2 × 3 lanes in the northern suburbs and suburbs. In the north of Asunción RN9 is crossed. After leaving the town, the road is a single lane. The road first eastward to San Estanislao and runs it through flat agricultural area with little reforestation. From San Estanislao the rn3 leads north and is the only continuous north-south route in this part of Paraguay. However, there are few places on the track. This is the transition region of the Cerrado in the Gran Chaco. Fragmented parts of the former forests exist along the RN 3. After Yby Yau the road is a part along with the RN 5 The road ends at the border with Brazil in Bella Vista, where the Brazilian BR -060 begins and extends to Campo Grande.

History

The rn3 is traditionally the most important connection between Asunción and the northeastern Paraguay. The rn3 is the only main road from south to Yby Yau, the northernmost part of the road was not yet paved. The connection of the RN5 at Dourados is therefore an important way to Brazil via the RN 3.
