Zahnašovice

Zahnašovice ( German Zahnaschowitz, 1939-45 Sachnaschowitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located three kilometers south of Holešov and belongs to Okres Kroměříž.

Geography

Zahnašovice is located at the junction of the Upper Moravian Valley ( Hornomoravský úval ) for Fryštácká Brázda ( Freistadtler sink). The village extends between the streams Mojena and Ludslávka on a slight hill. North of the village formed the expressway R 49; behind it is the site of the former airfield Holešov on which an industrial area to be built. In the south, the Na Skále rises (284 m).

Neighboring towns are Všetuly and Holešov in the north, Plačkov, Na Větráku and Přílepy in the northeast, Marti Nice and Horni Lapac in the east, Bednárňa, Vetrák, Žeranovice and Lechotice the southeast, Na Kopci and Míškovice in the south, Ludslavice and Kurovice the southwest, Hulin in the West and Třebětice and Alexovice in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of Zagnosouih took place in 1131 in a directory of the Olomouc bishop Jindřich Zdík on all goods of the diocese in which a Hube country is listed as the property of Archidiakonates Přerov. In 1382 the St. Maurice Church had benefice in Zahnašovice, of which an annual tribute to the Olomouc canon was to be paid. 1391 excommunicated the canons Jaroslav all parties involved in the mistreatment of the local judge Štěpan in this context can be seen that at this time owned the entire village to the church. After the abolition of patrimonial Zanašovice / Zahnaschowitz formed in 1850 a municipality in the district team Holešov. 1858 sold the counts Erdődy their goods in Holešov with all accessories to the Counts of Vrbno. The village school was rebuilt in 1871. From 1872, the municipality was the name Zahnačovice or Zahnaschowitz. The present form of the name Zahnašovice is used since 1881. In 1900 Zahnašovice consisted of 63 houses and had 500 inhabitants, who belonged to all Czech folk group and Catholics. The school was expanded in 1914 to an extension. 1921 lived in 78 houses in the village 486 Czechs. Religious passed the population with the exception of five Brethren and a Neuhussien from Catholics. In the village there were two ponds, a quarry and a clay pit. 1944 was built north of the village an airfield of the police. In 1953 Zahnašovice was incorporated into Holešov. Following the expansion of the air base Holešov the state road was laid between II/438 Otrokovice and Holešov from Zahnašovice about Všetuly. This is the place lost its direct road links to Holešov. For this reason, a separate cemetery was created in 1955 in Zahnašovice. In 1960, the community were assigned to the Okres Kroměříž. Since 1990 Zahnašovice is independent again. After the 2004 decision taken to close the airfield Holešov and construction of a 360 -hectare industrial zone project in the year was taken out by the government in the list of national strategic projects. In March 2009, the airfield ceased operation and after completion of the infrastructure of the first investor in 2010 was announce. Also under construction is the pass leading from the village to the future industrial area expressway R 49
