10th Anniversary Live is the first Musik-DVD/das first video album of the Finnish Folk-/Viking-Metal-Band Ensiferum. It was published on 28 June 2006 via Spinefarm Records.

Genesis

The DVD was created on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the band. For this, the New Year's concert of the band at 31 December 2005 was recorded in the Nosturi Music Hall in Helsinki. With around 750 visitors, the hall was completely filled and sold. In spring 2006, the recorded material by Nino Laurenne was mixed at Sonic Pump Studios and mastered by Mika Jussila then at Finnvox Studios.

Criticism

In general, the reviews of 10th Anniversary Live were quite positive. Kristisiert was only occasionally the " skinny scope " of the DVD, as it contains only the concert without any bonus material. However, the DVD has sold very well, in particular in Finland, so that she could enter at # 2 on the Finnish Music DVD charts in early July.

Stefan Popp of metal1.info presents in his review as weakness out the extent of the DVD, but recommends they both fans and curious. He closes his conclusion with the words " Good music, good entertainment, Ensiferum pure. Sweet, cute, personable and fun " and assigns 7.5 out of 10. Arlette Huguenin from Webzine Vampster the DVD called, although as a success, but also criticized the narrow scope. A further point of criticism leads Adam of metal- observer.com with too softly blended audience, and that this rarely looks at. Overall, however, he praises the DVD, it is recommended both for Ensiferum and genre fans and awards 8.5 out of 10.
