1946–47 Mexican Primera División season

The season 1946/47, was the fourth season of the Mexican professional football league, which operated at that time still under the name Liga Mayor.

Changes

After it had three recruits, but no graduates given in the two previous seasons, it was after the season 1945/46, which was held with 16 teams, the first time a finish. The badly battered as a result of an accident CF Monterrey had retired to the previous season and it was added with no further association, so that the season 1946/47, was discharged with a total of 15 teams.
