1962–63 Albanian Superliga

Kategoria e Pare The 1962/63 (in a sense: First League ) was the 25th staging of the Albanian Football Championship and was hosted by the National Football Association Federata Shqiptare e Futbollit. It was the first season that has not been discharged within the calendar year.

Course of the season

After the Albanian Football Association in 1948, the transition to a multi-year season from autumn to spring to Western European model due to Soviet pressure had been forced to take this step was still performed after fracture of the close relations between Tirana and Moscow for the season 1962/63.
