1963–64 Albanian Superliga

Kategoria e Pare The 1963/64 (in a sense: First League ) was the 26th edition of the Albanian Football Championship and was hosted by the National Football Association Federata Shqiptare e Futbollit.

Course of the season

The league consisted of twelve teams as last season. 1962/63 KS Korabi Peshkopi was relegated from the Kategoria e Pare, for the new season KS Luftëtari Gjirokastra rose after several years of abstinence and again in the first division. Defending champion was FK Partizani Tirana.

The championship was played in a regular season with round-trip round. Each team met twice against every other team. The-table rose in the then second-rate Kategoria e from Dyte. The Master moved into the European Champions Cup.

A total of 346 were gates, corresponding to an average of 2.6 goals per game. Scorer with nine goals was Robert Jashari from FK Partizani Tirana.

For the third time in a row, Partizani Tirana won the championship title, this time its tenth. For five points lead over Dinamo Tirana Partizani even remained unbeaten in all 22 games. As in the year ended Besa Kavaja in third place. Ranked four Labinoti Elbasan came before a Flamurtari Vlora. Sixth place went to 17 Nëntori Shkodër, followed Lokomotiva Durres. Tomori Berat, Skënderbeu Korçë Traktori Lushnjë and Vllaznia Shkoder managed all sovereign in the league, as promoted Luftëtari Gjirokastra occupied knocked off the last place.
