1981 FIFA World Youth Championship
The third FIFA World Cup ( officially: FIFA World Youth Championship for the Coca -Cola Cup) took place from 3 to 18 October 1981 in Australia. The world champion team of the Federal Republic of Germany was able to secure a 4-0 victory against the team from Qatar.
To the best player of the tournament, the Romanian Romulus Gabor was chosen scorer was Mark Koussas from Australia.
