1986–87 Albanian Superliga
Kategoria e Pare The 1986/87 (in a sense: First League ) was the 48th staging of the Albanian Football Championship and was hosted by the National Football Association Federata Shqiptare e Futbollit. The season began on August 31, 1986 and ended on 17 May 1987.
Course of the season
The league consisted of 14 teams. In the season 1985/86 KS Besëlidhja Lezha and Tirana Shkëndija were relegated from the Kategoria e Pare, for the new season came KS Besa Kavaja and KS Skënderbeu Korçë that had both managed the direct resurgence, added. Titleholder was KS Dinamo Tirana.
The championship was played in a regular season with round-trip round. Each team met twice against every other team. The two bottom team went directly into the then second-rate Kategoria e Dyte from. The Master moved into the European Champion Clubs' Cup, the runner-up qualified for the UEFA Cup.
