The 2nd World Half Marathon Championships (official IAAF World Half Marathon Championships ) were held in the Belgian capital Brussels on 3 October 1993. 254 participants - 133 men, 35 juniors and 86 women - from 49 countries were at the start. The separate junior rating was abolished after this discharge.
