1998 Sparkassen Cup
The Sparkassen Cup International Women's Tennis 1998 was a WTA tennis hall carpet square competition for women in Leipzig. It was a tournament of the Tier II category of the WTA Tour in 1998 and was held from 31 October to 8 November 1998.
In individual Steffi Graf won against Nathalie Tauziat 6:3 and 6:4. In doubles, the pair Ai Sugiyama / Jelena Lichowzewa won with 6:3, 6:7 and 6:1 against Manon Bolle Graf / Irina Spîrlea.
