1998 Super Tourenwagen Cup season

The STW- 1998 season was the fifth season of the Super Touring Car Championship. Since the DTM no longer existed at that time, the STW- 1998 season was considered a German Touring Car Championship. There were ten race weekends, at each of which two races were held. Johnny Cecotto won his second title after 1994 in the BMW 320i.
