2001 Superettan

The Superettan 2001 was the second season of the Superettan, as the second highest Swedish football league discharged in two seasons Division 1 replaced 2000. The season began on 16 April of the year and ended on 28 October 2001.

Third-placed Superettan playing in the Relegation against the third last of the Allsvenskan. Mjallby AIF missed against IFK Norrköping, since after a 2-1 home success the return match ended with a 1-3 defeat.

Top scorers

Daniel Nannskog from Landskrona BoIS led his club with 21 goals this season for promotion back to the Allsvenskan and was thus also taken the safest scorer in the league in de season 2001.
