IF Sylvia

IF Sylvia, short for Idrottsföreningen Sylvia, is a Swedish sports club based in Norrköping. The club was founded on 19 May 1922.

Football

The first men's team plays in the 2007 season back in the second highest Swedish league, the Superettan. After a few years in the Superettan the team in 2004 rose in the third-class Division 2, but rose again in 2006 to the newly established Division 1, and then managed the direct promotion to the second division. So IF Sylvia, had left the third football club from Norrköping and IK Sleipner behind. However, the team could not hold in the second division and went straight off again.
