2003–04 Regionalliga

The season 2003/04 Regional League was the tenth season of the Regional as the third- highest division in German football. It was in two regional scales - played with 18 teams - North and South.

The champion and runner-up of the scales of the North and South went directly on to the 2nd Bundesliga.

North

The North Season played in the 2003/04 season with 18 teams. Rot-Weiss Essen succeeded by winning the championship of the promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga. The runner-up and also the rise secured Dynamo Dresden.

The SG Wattenscheid 09, the amateurs of FC Schalke 04, FC Sachsen Leipzig and the VfR Neumünster increased to a sporty way into the league.

Top scorers

The South Season played in the 2003/04 season with 18 teams. The amateurs of FC Bayern Munich succeeded in winning the championship. The vice-championship and promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga secured the FC Rot -Weiß Erfurt.
