2003 FIFA Confederations Cup

The FIFA Confederations Cup 2003 ( English FIFA Confederations Cup 2003 ) was the fourth playout this intercontinental football competition for national teams under this name and care of FIFA and the sixth overall and took place from 18 to 29 June in France.

It was played as before in the two groups of four teams FFA. The two group winners each reached the semifinals. As European champions France had already qualified as hosts initially moved by Vice European champion Italy. Italy, however, opted not to participate.
