2007–08 Regionalliga

The season 2007/08 Regional League was the 14th and last season of the Regional as the third- highest division in German football. It was last in two regional scales - played - North and South. The season started on 27 July 2007 and ended on 31 May 2008.

The champion and runner-up of the scales of the North and South went directly on to the 2nd Bundesliga.

With the introduction of the 3rd Liga for the season 2008/ 09 the Regional was the last time the third- highest division in German football and also served as a qualifying round for the new league, which was introduced in the following season between the 2nd Bundesliga and the fourth division in the future Regional.

North

From the North Regional Rot Weiss Ahlen and Rot-Weiss Oberhausen were promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga. Rot-Weiß Oberhausen made ​​the walkthrough of the league to the 2nd Bundesliga.
