2010 European Touring Car Cup season

The European Touring Car Cup 2010 was the sixth edition of the European Touring Car Cup. In contrast to the previous years in which the ETCC had consisted only of an event, in 2010 several races throughout the season were played away. Overall winner in the Super 2000 class was James Thompson, in the class Superproduction Vojislav Lekić and in the superclass 1600 Carsten Seifert.

Race Calendar

The European Touring Car Cup was extended in 2010 at the Circuito Vasco Sameiro, the Salzburg ring and the Autodromo di Franciacorta. On each track there were two races held at a distance of 50 kilometers. Originally a publication of the ETCC at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben was planned, but the event was canceled.

Teams and Drivers

To the European Touring Car Cup was run in three different vehicle classes. The best-attended class was the Super 2000 in the Vehicles to 2000 cc capacity were permitted. Among the Super 1600 was settled ³ capacity for vehicles up to 1600 cm. In addition, there was the class Superproduction for largely unmodified production cars.
