2013 Sudirman Cup

The Sudirman Cup 2013, the world championship for mixed teams in badminton, took place from May 26, 2013 in Kuala Lumpur on 19. Malaysia was the first time host the Cup, failed as one of the favorites but already in the group stage to Taiwan and Germany. Title carrier was once again China. It was the 13th edition of the Sudirman Cup.

Award of the event

The awarding of the event took place on December 9, 2011 in Queenstown, New Zealand. Kuala Lumpur had applied the only city to host the Sudirman Cup 2013. At the same event, the Badminton World Championship 2013 ( Guangzhou ), and the Badminton World Championships were awarded in 2014 ( to Copenhagen ).
