• 260: The Roman emperor Valerian comes in Persian captivity. He later died some years. Gallienus, which he has used as co-emperor, assumes sole imperial power.
• 262: The Temple of Artemis at Ephesus is now destroyed as one of the 7 Wonders of the World after his initial destruction of 356 BC and its final reconstruction by the Goths.
• 263: Fall of the Chinese Shu Dynasty under the invasion of Wei.
• 265: The regent Sima Yan is from the last Wei Emperor Cao Huang and Jin Wudi establishes as the Jin Dynasty.
