Aaron Voros

Aaron Voros ( born July 2, 1981 in Vancouver, British Columbia) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player in the position of left winger, who was most recently with the Connecticut Whale of the American Hockey League contract.

Career

Voros played as a teenager for the Victoria Salsa in the British Columbia Hockey League, a second-rate junior league in the Canadian province of British Columbia. After Voros had been selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2001 in the eighth round to 229th place by the New Jersey Devils, he played three years in the U.S. College Football Central Collegiate Hockey Association for the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

At the end of the 2003/04 season he played for the first time in the Devils farm team in the American Hockey League with the Albany River Rats. After three more seasons in the AHL farm team of the Devils, he was transferred to a draft law of the seventh round to the Minnesota Wild. There he first came only in the AHL for use. On February 11, 2007 Voros was eventually used for the first time in the NHL for the game against the Colorado Avalanche. During the season he came on 55 missions in which he scored 14 points scorer.

After his contract expired in Minnesota at the end of the 2007/08 season, he signed on 1 July 2008 as a free agent with the New York Rangers. After a start in the 2008/ 09 season with nine points in the first eight games, his performances were weaker, which meant that he was often no longer used. In July 2010, the Rangers gave him along with Ryan Hillier in exchange for Steve Eminger to the Anaheim Ducks from. In Anaheim he came sporadically used and was sent during the 2010/11 season the farm team for the Syracuse Crunch. In February 2011, he was discharged in a transfer business in exchange for a conditional seventh- round performance suffrage in the NHL Entry Draft in 2011 to the Toronto Maple Leafs. However, he was only Canadians in the farm team for the Toronto Marlies for use and after the 2010/11 season he was out of contract before Voros in November 2011 signed a contract with the Connecticut Whale of the AHL. Early February 2012, solved this contractual relationship to be with immediate effect.
