Adelhofen is a municipality in the Upper Bavarian district Fürstenfeldbruck and a member of the administrative community Mammendorf.

Geography

Adelhofen located in the Munich region. The area was at the date January 1, 1999 13.28 km ².

History

Adelhofen mentioned 1158-1162 for the first time in a document as Adelungeshouen ( courtyard of Adalunc / Adalung / Adelunc ). Presumably, the area was already inhabited but earlier. 1986 Roman grater shell was found from the 3rd century. In the 14th century, the village name changed over Adlungshofen to documentary mention of Adeltzhofen 1483rd Today's toponym is attested from 1811. The place belonged to the Electorate of Bavaria and formed a closed Hofmark the Count Fugger. In the course of administrative reform in Bavaria, was born with the congregation of 1818 the municipality Adelhofen.

Incorporations

On May 1, 1978, the previously independent community Luttenwang was incorporated.

Population Development

On the territory of the municipality were 1970 700, 1987, 1094 and 2000 counted 1,404 residents a year. On 31 December 2003 the municipality had 1,531 inhabitants.

Mayor Michael Raith. He belongs to the association CSU Citizens for Adelhofen / wet Hausen / Luttenwang.

The municipal tax revenue amounted to the equivalent of 549 k € in 1999, which amounted to the trade tax revenues ( net) equivalent to € 43 thousand.

Economy, agriculture and forestry

There were 1998 in the field of agriculture and forestry not, in industry 31, and in trade and transport, no social insurance contributions at the workplace. Convent of the Poor School Sisters

In the Fugger Strasse, the former home of the estate manager of 1833 demolished needle Hofener castle, located since 1845 a convent of the School Sisters of Notre Dame. According to press reports from December 2013, the monastery, where three sisters are engaged, are dissolved in the fall of 2014.
