Alling

Alling is a municipality in the southeast of the Upper Bavarian district Fürstenfeldbruck, about 25 km west of Munich. The municipality includes the towns of Alling, Biburg and Holzhausen.

History

The first mention is carried out for 802 Alling as Alli gas and Alling (for the people of Allo ), for Biburg in 1150 as Piburch and Holzhausen 776 as Holzhusun (houses on the forest ). Worth seeing is the Hoflacher chapel which commemorates the Battle of Alling.
