African Women's Championship
The African Cup of Women, officially: African Women Championship (English ) or Championnat d' Afrique de football féminin (French ), organized by the African Football Federation continental championship in women's soccer. The tournament takes place every two years and used to determine the African champions in women's football. The tournaments, which are held one year before the World Cup of women who serve as qualification for the world tournament. Here Africa is entitled to two seats.
Record winners are the Nigerians that previously could choose eight out of ten tournaments for themselves. Current title holder is Equatorial Guinea, which for the second time after 2008 took advantage of your home field advantage in the tournament in 2012 and won in the final against South Africa 4-0.
