Ahmad Daouk

Ahmed Bey Daouk (Arabic أحمد الداعوق ) was a politician in the United Lebanon. Under the French mandate, he was from December 1, 1941 to July 26, 1942 Lebanese prime minister under President Alfred Naccache.

From 1944 to 1958 he represented the Lebanon as an envoy in France (1944 to 1953 as minister plenipotentiary, from 1953 to 1958 as an ambassador ).

Daouk was on 14 May 1960, a second time under Prime Minister Fouad Chehab - at the head of a government which was responsible for preparing the legislative elections. However, he resigned on August 1st from his post.
