Ahmed Baday

Ibrahim Ahmed Baday (* 1974) is a Moroccan long-distance runner.

So far, he took nine part in the World Cross Country Championships and won three medals with the team: 1999 in Belfast silver and 2003 in Lausanne / Avenches bronze each with a 15th place in the individual standings and 2007 in Mombasa with a 18th place in the individual ranking.

About 10,000 m 2001 he won gold at the Games of La Francophonie, and bronze at the Mediterranean Games. In 2005 he took over the same distance bronze at the Games of La Francophonie, 2007, he resigned over 5000 m at the World Athletics Championships in Osaka from the inlet port.

In 2008, he was ninth at the Hamburg Marathon. The following year he was second in Rabat Half Marathon, third at the Ottawa Marathon, won gold in the half marathon of the Mediterranean Games in Pescara and arrived at the World Half Marathon Championships in Birmingham on the 49th place. 2010 was followed by a third place at the Marrakech Marathon and a victory at Yangzhou Jianzhen Half Marathon.

In 2011 he won the Beppu - Oita Marathon.
